Thanks for asking! If I start selling goodies, I like the name "Dogwood Gourmet" better than The Egghead Baker - it sounds a little more professional and it allows for more than baking! So, before my blog got too big, I decided to pull up stakes. We have some beautiful dogwood trees here in NC; the dogwood flower is our state flower. So, I thought it would be a good, Southern name!
